+Go Vogue?+

I boycotted Aussie Vogue a while ago because I was sick to death of the lack of creativity and originality it was supplying. I'd flick through a French or British Vogue from a few months earlier and see the exact same layouts and photo shoots. It really made me angry for some reason?! Did they think we'd be none the wiser?

Well, It seems they have picked up their game. Whatever happened, this months Vogue is extremely eye catching. As I noticed it today on the racks, I was surprised.. Vogue.. no.. really?

Finally back to doing some amazing, original, non awkward photos. (Obviously I know no one from Vogue will read this (thank god))

I am so proud of Emma Mulholland, recent Sydney Institute Tafe graduate. She's amazing & deserves every bit of our attention!

I can't wait to see her show pics from RAFW.

Check her out on Dazed Digital and Pedestrian.

I love The Man Repeller. There. I said it.

Top 5 things The Man Repeller has taught me:

That it's OK to wear slippers during the day, AND outside of the house.

Sometimes it's OK to layer your leather. OR anything for that matter.

Cobalt feathered towels are SO on trend.

That someone else out there appreciates Waris Alhuwalia like I do.

And finally, Dress for yourself and nobody else! (but I already knew that)

Don't stop Man Repelling, Man Repeller, we love you just the way you are.

Xx

I was lucky enough to score a ticket to the LMFF business seminar yesterday and it was well worth it!

Mikael Schiller spoke about his 10 years as CEO of Acne Studios, an amazing company going from strength to strength combining art, design and fashion, which I think is the future (genius) of Fashion Design.

Acne also produce ACNEPAPER which has become an incredibly respected and influential art/fashion magazine. (Sold at your local Acne store)

Jefferson Hack also shared his ideas on the future of Digital media and gave a thoughtful insight into the world of Dazed Digital.

Dazed and Confused is a magazine I read so it was great to have the opportunity to hear Jefferson speak about the Dazed empire and the future of media and information.

"The experience is online, that's the live event. The magazine will become the artifact, something you take away with you" Jefferson Hack.

..and just because it's so shit hot; the new Acne A/W 11 range:
