Australian designers Kain Picken & Fiona Lau and their brand f f i x x e d.
I can't even explain how much I love what they do, as I first clicked through the photos for AW 2010 I knew something special had happened and that I'd stumbled upon something I can relate to and feel a connection with, as strange as that sounds, it's like when you meet someone for the first time and you know instantly you'll be friends.

+I am not a cool designer+
I admit that sometimes I tend to harp on about how much I adore certain designers but they give me so much to love about them and Alber Elbaz seems to always capture my heart. He is always so humble, sometimes to even a degree of self deprecation as Tim Blanks describes on style.com.
"I'm not a cool designer, and Lanvin is not a cool brand,"
Thinking about this comment I am reminded that everyone struggles with maintaining confidence in themselves. We all have challenges whether it be a negative parent or an abrupt design teacher but we must ignore the frustration and continue being confident in ourselves. Do what you love and don't be afraid.
